Happiness is a peanut…

if you’re a squirrel.

“Nature, the gentlest mother,

Impatient of no child

The feeblest or the waywardest, —

Her admonition mild

In forest and the hill

By traveller is heard,

Restraining rampant squirrel

Or too impetuous bird.”

~ Emily Dickinson

Fuzzy has been living in our trees for four years or more.  We recognize him by the round, black birthmark on the lower lid of his left eye.  He knows to come to breakfast when the garage door goes up and he can catch a tossed peanut like a good outfielder.
