is doing great!
Basil and chervil, marjoram and thyme, arugula and mint…I’ve already “harvested” a few leaves from the Aerogarden to make vinaigrette.

The little “crate” garden’s seeds have sprouted, too.
Fresh-herbs-at-the-ready all winter long!
My favorite vinaigrette tastes a little different every time I make it. I don’t have a specific recipe, but this one is a mix of many that I have tried.
1 part balsamic vinegar to 4 parts olive oil (the better quality the oil, the better the dressing)
salt and pepper
a squeeze of lemon or orange or lime
a generous pinch of sugar
a bunch of herbs — whatever is in the garden — chopped
a dollop of mustard (I like the classic Dijon)
garlic, minced (a clove or two, depending on the amount of dressing you make)
Give it all a whirl with a whisk.

Very nice! Did you grow from seed?

Aerogarden also sells seeds already in the plastic containers to immerse in the water garden. You can do flowers, too, or vegetables.
